About Alpinetrek
Two entrepreneurs, a dog, and a love of climbing launched Bergfreunde.de, an online supplier of mountaineering gear in 2006. With over 700 staff, today it is among the top online mountain sports stores in Europe. With over 140,000 items in store and over 500 of the top outdoor brands, Alpinetrek provides premium climbing and mountaineering goods. Operating out from Germany, the store offers the same wide choice of climbing and mountain sports goods as the German store.
More About Alpinetrek
Delivery
With an average delivery time of 7–9 working days, Alpinetrek provides quick and effective shipping services, processing orders inside one working day. Special products could require more time for hand packing. Currently not available are shipping to Northern Ireland, Isle of Man, the Channel Islands, and BFPO areas. For orders worth £75 or more Alpinetrak handles customs and provides free delivery to the UK. Should a package arrive with obvious damage, kindly deny acceptance and forward pictures to the team within four days for claim handling. Not filing a claim or contacting Alpinetrek would not compromise your statutory warranty rights; rather, it will enable you to recover damages against the carrier provider or transport insurance. Payment methods are credit card (up to £1500), PayPal (up to £15000), Sofort (up to £15000), and Apple Pay (up to £1500).
Return
Alpinetrek has a 100-day voluntary return policy for those wishing to return goods for fit or dissatisfaction. Returns must be handled in their original condition, whole, and free of use indicators. They also have to be neither broken, filthy, or improperly packed. The items should be returned in the same box as received to help to save resources.
Should a product have flaws, Alpinetrek will handle returns within twenty-one days. The procedure consists in completing the return form, packing the items, shipping them, and getting the reimbursement. Standard packing uses the Royal Mail return label; for overweight items and large quantities, extra fees could be due.
Completing the return form, packaging the items, forwarding them, and getting the refund comprise the four processes of a return. The refund sum will be automatically reduced by the £3.99 return processing fee. Export paperwork has to be attached if you are going back to the Germany warehouse.
Exchange
Alpinetrek offers a new item instead of exchanges and can help with warranty claims. Customers can put a new order and return undesirable products to guarantee stock availability. Alpinetrek is willing to respond to any more enquiries or requests by means of their contact form or phone number 03 33 33 67058.
